Netra Tarpan is a beautiful version of oleation to specific body parts. It is a very soothing and cleansing (depending on choice of oil) therapy for the eyes.

A dam of dough is made and placed around both eyes. These are then filled with oil/ghee depending on the disease/condition for which it is being done.

It cleanses the eye, clarifies vision and is beneficial in various eye disease like dry eyes, redness of eyes, eyelid diseases, weak eyesight.
